Adaptations to Emergency Remote Teaching on EFL Writing Course During the Covid-19 Pandemic

<p>Covid-19 pandemic forced lecturers and students to stay at home manage online remote teaching systems. This current study explored the adaptations emergency on EFL Academic Writing courses in aspect of practices perception from both university. A mixed-method approach was selected using an exploratory sequential design. The participants were a lecturer 51 university who registered for course private Jakarta. instruments lecturer’s documents 14 meetings questionnaire sequentially. data then analyzed descriptive as well thematic qualitative analysis. findings showed that consisted digital learning platforms, material delivery, methods/techniques, writing activity assessment. Some assumed attending confusing, while others had no adjustments called it new valuable experience. In general, they perceived positive perceptions toward teaching’s practices.
